Brown Bat
I have a hibernating bat on my porch. What should I do with it?
A little brown bat has been hanging above my door for about a week, but the wind knocked him down, and now its just laying there. I know it isn’t dead because I can see it breathing, but it won’t wake up from hibernation. What should I do about it without harming the bat?
Call animal control, you don’t want to be messing around with a wild animal. Especially when it is capable of carrying rabies and other nasty things.
