…and i have ADD, not sure if that would help
Would I need to do really well on my SAT and SAT subject tests?
PLEASE INCLUDE ANY OTHER OPTIONS I MIGHT HAVE! thank you
Wow your extra curricular activities outshadow much of your academic work.
You’ll get in, trust me. Just be sure to score decent on your SAT’s. I’m thinking around 1800-2000? Hopefully, if you can, you are pretty much set. If you can’t, you still have a good shot.
They do not look at your freshman GPA btw. Only sophomore and junior year counts.
I had a unweighted overall sophomore+junior year gpa of 3.33 and weighted 3.8. My SAT was 2100, and my SAT II was around 700-750.
I had wayyy less extra curricular than you.
I got into UCI, UCSD, as far as UC’s go.
I didn’t apply to UCSB, but it is easier to get into than UCSD and UCI.
Oh also,
You should write about your ADD in your essay. It should help.
Other things that might factor in: your race (yes, it will be easier to get into some schools depending on your race), the high school you attend, city that you live in, etc.
Btw, what people have not told me during high school is that it doesn’t really matter much where you go for undergraduate college, unless you are trying to get into some form of grad school.
Just excel at where you go, and you should be set.
good luck
